A downloadable game for Windows

About the Game

You manage a submarine using a series of screens, levers, wheels, and buttons. Your goal is to hack into a boat far above you, while avoiding the dangers of the ocean. Meanwhile, something inside the system begins to change.

The more you progress, the less stable reality becomes.

Execute the subroutine before it executes you.

How to Play

The top screen shows your Progress Bar. Press the "HACK!" button on the middle screen to boost progress.

The top screen also shows the Radar.

  • When sharks appear, use the Siren button on the bottom screen to scare them off.
  • When ships appear, press the Silent Running button (green button on middle screen, press again to turn it off) but your power usage is doubled; or go to a lower depth level.

Using the Thermometer on the top screen, keep track of the temperature. If it goes too high or low, use the red wheel on the bottom screen to correct it.

Warning Alerts are also on the top screen. Below the WARNING icon are the two most recent problems (ex: shark appeared, temperature too high, etc.).

The middle screen shows the Depth Gauge.

  • When the ground starts rising, use the lever on the bottom screen to change to a higher depth level.
  • When radar pings start coming down from above, use the lever on the bottom screen to change to a lower depth level.

Lastly, make sure you watch out for glitches. When systems start glitching out, use the stun prod at the right of the bottom screen to zap the glitch. Make sure to put it back down after, as you won't be able to do anything else while carrying it.

When purple numbers show up on the Main Screen, press the purple Anti-Hack button on the top screen. Make sure you don't wait too long, as these kinds of glitches spread quickly.

The black wheel on the bottom screen controls the speed of hacking, but watch out! Faster hacking means more glitches.
